Cardiac Imaging
Ahmed received his Bachelor of Medicine from Cairo University in November 2003. He received his Master Degree in Radiology from the same university in 2009. In 2011, he obtained a clinical fellowship in cardiac MR imaging in the German Heart Centre, Munich, Germany, which extended until April 2014. Parallel to his clinical work in Germany, he authored and co-authored numerous research projects, and actively participated as a speaker and presenter in several conferences. He established CMRI unit in Cairo University Hospitals. He also worked as the head of the Radiology Department in Aswan Heart Centre, Egypt with Sir Prof. M. Yacoub. He relocated from Geramny recently to work as consultant / Depuy Head of Cardiovascular Radiology in Liverpool Heart and Chest Centre, UK.
