Ahmed was born in Gizah, Egypt in 1990 and graduated from Dar Eltarbiah School in 2007. He received his bachelor's degree in Mechanical Design and Production Engineering from Cairo University, Egypt in 2012. He is ranked the first among his class with a cummulative percetage of 90.63% (Distinction with honors). He finished his Master's qualification courses with a 4.0 GPA and his research is about optimal control of point absorber sea waves energy harvesting devices. His research is expected to be finished by the beginning of 2018.
He was granted by a student award certificate from SCHLUMBERGER company for outstanding achievement in the academic year 2009/2010, 2010/2011 and, 2011/2012.
Research interests include renewable energy, Marine energy, vibrations, optimum design and, optimal control.
