Bio

Ahmed Abd El- Daim Mohamed Hussein is Assistant Professor of Modern and Contemporary History , Department of History - Institute of African Research and Studies - Cairo University, where he has been since 2003. His research interests lie in the areas of Africa history, Arab and Africa, Africa and the world.  He has published his research articles in more than a dozen different journals.

In addition to his work as a historian,he is a writer in a number of newspapers, and political analyst at the TV channels

- Master's degree in modern and contemporary history, subject under the title "Education and Apartheid  in South Africa in the period from 1948 - 1976," a grade of Excellent (with the recommendation printed and posted at the expense of the university and exchange with universities in Arab and African) of the Department of History, Institute of African Research and Studies - Cairo University, 2001.

- - Ph.D degree in modern and contemporary history subject under the title "Poverty and disease in African society under apartheid rule in South Africa 1948 - 1976," First Class Honors (with the recommendation printed message at the expense of the university and shared with other universities) of the Department of History, Institute for Research and Studies Africa - Cairo University, 2005.
