Ahmed S Attia

Welcome to the website for the "Ahmed S. Attia Research Group". The Group started working on March 2011 within the Department of Microbiology and Immunology, Faculty of Pharmacy, Cairo University, Cairo, Egypt. We are interested in studying different aspects of the host-pathogen interactions in an effort to identify microbial moieties that can be used as novel targets for therapeutics development. We are currently looking for highly motivated graduate students who want to obtain a graduate degree "Masters and/or Ph.D. in the field of Microbiology and Immunology through the Faculty of Pharmacy, Cairo University, Cairo, Egypt.

Also we are looking for undergraduate students who are interested in getting trained on doing some basic science research during both the school year and the summer vacation.
