Dr. Ahmed Orabi has graduated from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine in September 2010 (BVSc. – Grade: Very Good). He is occupying a position Lecturer of Microbiology since June, 2017. During this period, he has been actively performing various standard cultural, serological and molecular procedures for isolation and identification of bacterial pathogens from clinical samples. Starting from 2013 until now, throughout this period, he was able to publish several high quality research articles and joined several research projects funded by the (STDF) followed to Egyptian Academy of Scientific Research and Technology as a technical assistant as well as a co-investigator. Area of expertise: • Microbiology workups and research, particularly in the area of isolating and identifying listeria from raw milk •Professional knowledge of biochemical reaction interpretation and identification of different pathogens •Performing standard antibiotic sensitivity tests. •Specific experience in developing teaching modules and providing technical and theoretical microbiology training sessions (as a university staff for 6 years).

He has The Cairo University incentive awards for International publications.  He has 11 international publications and his H-index is 5 (according to scopus; Author ID: 57201889804).
