Dr Ahmed Mohamed Elsayed Khalil is an Assistant Professor in Chemical Engineering and an Associate Fellow of the Higher Education Academy with over twelve years of expertise in nanotechnology, sustainable materials, and chemical/environmental engineering. His contributions include pioneering sustainable technology solutions, advancing the foundation industries towards net-zero targets, and developing impactful educational programmes. Recognised for his research in material recycling and water treatment, he has led interdisciplinary projects funded by prominent bodies, published extensively, and guided students at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Passionate about the circular economy, Dr Ahmed Elsayed is dedicated to mentoring the next generation of engineers to address global environmental challenges.
