Ahmad Abdullah received his BSc and MSc degrees from the Department of Electrical Power and Machines at Faculty of Engineering at Cairo University, Cairo, Egypt, in 2009 and 2011, respectively.
He joined the PhD program at the Electrical Engineering Department at Texas A&M University as a research and teaching assistant at 2012. Currently, he is a Power System Design Engineer at Electric Power Engineers, Austin, TX. He is responsible for performing consulting studies for renewable energy projects.
His research interests include: power system protection, power system stability and control, digital signal processing, FACTS and HVDC.
