Adel Mosharafa is Prof. Emeritus of Applied Mathematics, Mathematics Department, Faculty of Science, Cairo University. He obtained his M.Sc from the University of Wales, and his Ph.D. from the University of London in 1967. Prof. Mosharafa worked as visiting faculty in higher education institutions in Libya, Saudi Arabia, Sudan, and the American University in Cairo. He has numerouns international publications, with a special interest in solid state physics, superconductivity, and thermoelasticity.
