Abdelmomen Mahgoub was born in Cairo, Egypt, in 1986. He received the B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in electrical engineering from Cairo University, Giza, Egypt, in 2008 and 2010, respectively. He received the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from the interdisciplinary school for engineering science, Kyushu University, Kyushu, Japan in 2014. Between 2015 and 2016, He was a Postdoctoral Researcher in the Dipartimento di Ingegneria, Universita Degli Studi del Sannio, Benevento, Italy. Currently, he is an Assistant Professor in the Electrical Power Engineering Department, Cairo University. His current research interests include battery management and chargers’ systems, low-volume high-efficiency dc-dc converters, resonant converters, multilevel inverters, and energy harvesting technologies.
