Lecturer in Faculty of Urban and Regional Planning


Abdullah Al-attar is a lecturer in Faculty of Urban and Regional Planning (FURP) in Cairo University. He worked as teacher assistant in urban design department since 2004 until 2011. He had his M.Sc. then PhD in 2018, he became a lecturer in the same department in 2018, he has worked as an urban and landscape designer in several projects – research projects for several organizations- institutions as well as private sectors beside his academic position in FURP since 2004. In 2011 and right after the Egyptian revolution, he started his own urban and landscape design consultancy unit as an associate. His current research work focusses on community development, urban transportation, spatial network analysis, in addition to urban design theories and new trends, Abdullah now lives in Cairo Egypt
