Adel Surour

Prof. Surour works at the Geology Department, Cairo University. His duties include teaching of under- & post-graduate students, in addition to scientific research. He has a wide experience in the so-called "Arabian-Nubian Shield" in northeast Africa and the Arabian Peninsula. He is specialized in mineralogy and ore geology so he concerns with systematic mineralogy, mineral chemistry and genesis of ore deposits. He participated in several research works that dealt with characterization, isotopic signature and origin of diverse metallic and non-metallic resources, mostly in Egypt and Saudi Arabia.
