Ahmed S.A. Mohamed received the B.Sc. degree in electronics and communications
engineering (honors) and the M.Sc. degree in engineering mathematics from Cairo University, Egypt, in 1995 and 2000, respectively, and the Ph.D. degree from McMaster University, Hamilton, ON, Canada, in 2005. He spent one year as a postdoctoral fellow with the Simulation Optimization Systems (SOS) Research Laboratory, McMaster University. Dr. Mohamed is with the Engineering Mathematics and Physics department, Faculty of Engineering, Cairo University as an assistant professor since 2006. Dr. Mohamed has been a technical reviewer for engineering-based and optimization Journals. He has published several papers in refereed journals and international conferences. His research interests include EM-based optimization methods, RF and microwave CAD tools, design centering and yield optimization techniques.
