AbstractThe magnetic susceptibility of the compounds (CH2)m(NH3)2MCL4-xBrx; (m = 8, 9 and x = 0, 1, 2) are measured in the temperature range from 80 K up to a temperature near the melting point of each sample. The obtained values of the Curie-Weiss constant θ showed that the antiferromagnetic property increases by increasing either the Br-1 ions or the number of carbon atoms in the complex. © 1992.
