Since 2015, China's swine industry has undergone a profound adjustment. Problems and challenges such as environmental protection, efficiency and epidemic disease are still very serious at present. The production has been reduced for two consecutive years due to non-epidemic factors, resulting in a decrease in global pork production.
The green and sustainable development of agriculture and food safety has become key topics globally. In NPC&CPPCC Annual Sessions 2019, it’s made clear that in protecting agricultural ecological environment, we should comprehensively improve the quality of livestock products and other agricultural products. As an important approach for the green and sustainable development of agriculture, animal welfare has been more and more emphasized in providing good-quality livestock products and meeting customers’ health requirements, etc.

After five years of successful meetings, human and animal research specialist from Mongolia are bringing the sixth opportunity for foreign scientists to share their experience and engage in numerous research collaborations and discoveries. The meeting will take place during the 18th and 19th of September. In addition, the program includes inspiring pre-meeting workshops and very exciting post-meeting excursions to Uur River and two National Parks.
