Yossra Taha is an Assistant Lecturer and a PhD Candidate at the Political Science Department in Faculty of Economics and Political Science, Cairo University. She has been a scholar of international relations and of China since 2007. She earned her M.A degree from Cairo University in 2010 studying the impact of the Confucian Culture on Chinese Foreign Policy. She has since then grown a profound interest in the regions of East and South East Asia in general, She is also deeply intrigued in the fields of international relations, international intervention, conflict and resistance studies and generally leans towards constructivist explanations.
