     Assistant Lecturer in the Department of Rheumatology & Rehabilitation, Faculty of Medicine, and Cairo University: The following duties were included within the previous two rank’s responsibilities:

 

  • Regular follow-up of the outpatient cases (the department follows-up the largest number of cases all-over Egypt e.g.. more than 1500 regular Rheumatoid cases besides other diseases).
  • Actively participating in the regularly weekly staff rounds held in the inpatient department and discussing all matters concerning every individual inpatient.

 

  • Supervising over the department residents, house officers, nurses, employees and workers.
  • Lecturing the undergraduate final year students and demonstrating cases in a simplified way.
  • Professional clinical and academic teaching to the residents of the department.
  • In the French New Kasr El-Aini University Teaching Hospital:
  • In the Japanese Pediatric University Hospital (Abou El Reish):
  • Supervising and teaching the residents all the tasks in the department as well as:  
  • Examining and diagnosing the private cases attending the hospital and prescribing the suitable medical and physiotherapy programs.
  • Following up inpatient and outpatient cases doing physiotherapy programs at the department
  • Assisting in performing EMG procedures and NCV studies for indicated and referred cases

 

    As an assistant to Professor Dr. Tahsin El Hadidi (President of the International League of Associations for Rheumatology (ILAR). And his son Khaled El Hadidi in his private clinic (38 Kambiz street from Shooting club street, Dokki, Cairo, Egypt.

 

The following duties were performed:

 

  • Observing, history taking and examining the first visit cases and consulting the professor in each case.
  • Regular follow up the Rheumatological cases and dealing with any new complaint or disease progress.
  • Modifying the medical treatment programs for follow-up cases according to the condition.

    Resident in the Rheumatology and Rehabilitation Department, Faculty of Medicine, Cairo University with the following duties:

 

  • Daily examination of cases attending the outpatient clinic and prescribing medical and physiotherapy programs.
  • Dealing with cases requiring minor interference techniques such as aspiration of joint effusions and injection of indicated joints or surrounding soft tissues (tendons, bursae, entrapment tunnels…etc)
  • Consulting the department professors in uncommon cases or management programs, and regularly interactively displaying these cases in the weekly staff round.
  • Follow up of the cases and cooperating with other departments when the condition requires such an act.
  • Selecting and preparing the cases for the department professors to perform EMG and NCV studies.
  • Checking the job duties of the house officers, nurses, employees and workers in the department.
  • Six months residence in the department’s branch in the Japanese Pediatric University Hospital (Abou El- Reish) (The biggest Pediatric Hospital in Egypt)
  • Six months residence in the department’s branch in the French New Kasr El-Aini University Teaching Hospital (The biggest offered medical service in Egypt).
