Biography
Tamer F. Abdelmaguid received his Ph.D. in Industrial and Systems Engineering at the University of Southern California, the USA, in 2004. He obtained both his B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees at the Mechanical Design and Production Department, Faculty of Engineering, Cairo University, in 1996 and 2000, respectively. Currently, he is a Full Professor of industrial engineering at the Mechanical Design and Production Department, Cairo University. He has served as a visiting assistant professor at King Saud University (KSA) from 2008 to 2010 and as a visiting associate professor at the American University in Cairo from 2017 to 2019. He has provided consultation services to local governmental and industrial organizations. He is serving as an associate editor for the Journal of Engineering and Applied Science. His research interests are related to the optimization of manufacturing processes, production planning and scheduling, and supply chain management. He has published several research papers in international journals and conference proceedings (ORCD ID: 0000-0003-1516-6057, SCOPUS Author ID: 6505883297, ResearcherID: C-5607-2015).
