Bio
Somaia M. El Sayed is a political science assistant lecturer in the faculty of Economics and Political Science, Cairo University.
She is a Cairo-University graduate who obtained her political science B.Sc in 2008. In 2009, she became affiliated to the American University in Cairo where she obtained her master’s degree from the School of Humanities and Social Sciences and a diploma in public policy from the School of Global Affairs and Public Policy at the same university.
Her main specialization is comparative politics, with emphasis on protest movements and youth studies and has cultivated considerable academic and empirical experience in this field.
