Bio

I am Dr. Asmaa Farouk, a Lecturer at the Department of Biological Sciences, Faculty of Science, Cairo University. My research focuses on evaluating the therapeutic potential of natural compounds (particularly extracts from marine invertebrates) and developing advanced drug delivery systems using nanoparticles. I have published work on the use of natural extracts and nano-formulations in treating hepatic steatosis, acute kidney injury, and myocardial infarction. My work aims to find safer and more effective alternatives to conventional treatments. I am deeply interested in applied biochemical research and the dissemination of scientific knowledge.
