It is one the largest pediatric hospital in the Middle East . My responsibilities . Included 40 inpatients , 2 junior residents in their first year of training , 8 house officers and 4 visiting fellows for whom I was always available . for both academic and clinical consultation .  My working schedule included 2 days for outpatient clinics where an average of 80 patients were served each day .  A 3 ^rd  was dedicated to emergency pediatrics .

We have   twice weekly STAFF  ROUND CONFERENCE and a monthly  GRAND ROUND CONFERENCE  were I made several presentations .

Master Degree (M.Sc) of Pediatrics 1993 :

) after which  I was assigned Assistant Lecturer of Pediatric Cardiology , New Children’s Cairo University .

I am responsible for training 4 residents and 4 clinical fellows , my working schedule includes 2 days for general pediatrics outpatient clinics , 2 days for pediatric echocardiography .  Two more days are dedicated to my research work .   We have a weekly staff round conference and a weekly pediatric cardiology conference with the cardiothoracic surgeons .  I teach twice weekly tutorial sessions to undergraduate students , about common cardiological problems in children .

 

 Medical Doctorate (M.D) degree in Pediatrics  1998  :

With a clinical research project entitled ( Predictive value of different diagnostic measures in neurologically - free  syncope in children) This topic has not been explored before in Cairo University Hospitals as we intend to open a new “ Autonomic Syncope Clinic “

          I volunteered in several blood donation campaigns using mobile units provided by the Ministry of Health for screening for hepatitis and HIV as well as blood donation.

As a staff member in the New children’s Hospital, Cairo University, I work twice weekly in the Preventive Medical Center for children built by the Japanese Government in Cairo. I provide my help to children with nutritional problems.
