I am an academic with an LL.M. from Harvard Law School and a Ph.D. from the Faculty of Law, Marburg University, Germany. I have published in numerous reputable legal publications such as Kluwer Law International (Global Trade Law Series), ‘Antidumping: A Developing Country Perspective’ and the WIPO/WTO Colloquium Papers Series, conducted in realm of the WIPO/WTO Colloquium for IP Teachers from Developing Countries, ‘Re-Examining the Public Interest Component of Intellectual Property Rights with Special Reference to Plant Breeders’ Rights’. The author also has forthcoming publications in the Journal of Law and Economics of the Faculty of Law, Cairo University, including: ‘The Legal Regime of Transfer of Technology Contracts in Egypt: A Critical Analytical Study’. The Author has also been a visiting scholar at the Lauterpacht Research Centre for International Law, University of Cambridge and a visiting researcher at Harvard Law School. The author has been awarded several scholarships and fellowships including: The German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) Scholarship, The Chevening Scholarship and The WIPO Fellowship.
