- March 2009- March 2010: House officer in AlKasr AlAiny hospital
- Worked as general practitioner with rotations in gynecology, pediatrics, surgery, internal medicine, clinical pathology, oncology, and 2 months in general causality and emergencies.
- May 2010- May 2011: Internal medicine internship in AlKasr AlAiny hospital
- Served as resident and received training in internal medicine for 6 months, emergency room and intensive care for 3 months, and neurology department for 3 months.
- May 2011- November 2013: Psychiatry internship in AlKasr AlAiny hospital
- Received training in liaison, adult, adolescent, child, geriatric psychiatry in addition to 6 months addiction department.
- Prepared a MSc degree in Psychiatry
- February 2014- Current: Assistant lecturer of psychiatry in Cairo University
- 6 months in general adult psychiatry and 6 months pediatric psychiatry.
- Serving as a supervisor for residents during their training, following patients in outpatient clinic, psychotherapy play groups for children and parenting skills.
- Academic work including illustrating clinical cases of patients to medical students during their clinical rounds.

Titled: “Depression and IL-6 in adolescent and adult patients on Hemodialysis”
Research Interest:
1. Child and adolescent psychiatry.
2. Genetics back ground and its role in neurodevelopmental disorders and Schizophrenia.
3. Liaison psychiatry.
4. Sleep disorders .
Career goals:
- Helping patients with mental illness to get rid of their stigma
- Taking part in research and international publishing to help patients with mental illness, and promote the work and reputation of Cairo University.
- Carrying out research in different fields of liaison psychiatry to help understand the interaction between body organs and implementing new therapeutic techniques helping those patients.
