Rasha Kamel

Professor Rasha A Kamel MBBCh, MSc., MD Rasha Kamel is a professor of Obstetrics & Gynaecology and a Consultant in the Maternal-Fetal Medicine unit at the department of Obstetrics & Gynaecology at the Faculty of Medicine, Cairo University, Egypt. She is also a visiting professor in Charles University, Prague, Czech Republic. Professor Kamel is recognised for her research work in the field of transperineal scanning in general and the use of ultrasound scan to assess labour outcomes in particular. Her publications in this field have informed practice internationally. Professor Rasha Kamel is the current Ambassador for the International Society of Ultrasound in Obstetrics and Gynaecology (ISUOG) for Africa and the Middle East. more
