PhD in Economics- Cairo University - Egypt- Thesis Title- . , The study discusses the theoretical and empirical aspects of the public debt portfolio management. It attempts to determine the extent to which the OECD countries can apply portfolio management strategies to manage their public debt portfolios. The study compares the current public debt management status of Egypt with the status of the OECD countries. It also highlights the institutional framework of debt management including the coordination of fiscal and monetary policies and the development of government bonds market.
