Prof. Dr. Nourtan F. Abdeltawab is a Professor of Microbiology and Immunology at Cairo University. She is the Principal Investigator at Newgiza University for an NIH-funded project in collaboration with teams in Canada and the USA. Her research focuses on host-pathogen interactions, antimicrobial resistance, vaccine development, and the immunogenetics of Hepatitis C Virus. She has received the L'Oréal-UNESCO FWIS Fellowship and International Rising Talent Award and is dedicated to mentoring students, promoting women in science, and fostering international collaborations.
