Dr. Noura is an Associate Professor of Biostatistics and Demography at the Faculty of Graduate Studies for Statistical Research, Cairo University. She holds a B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Statistics in the Faculty of Economics and Political Science, Cairo University, and earned her Ph.D. in Biostatistics and Demography from the same university.
Dr. Noura has over 20 years of experience in scientific research and data analysis across various disciplines, including applied statistics, biostatistics, demography, and population studies. She has extensive teaching experience at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. She is also actively involved in supervising theses and mentoring students in academic research. Her research interests include population studies, statistical modeling, health statistics, and the application of statistical methods in interdisciplinary contexts.
In addition to her academic roles, Dr. Noura serves as a coordinator at the Cairo University International Ranking Office. She is also a certified international professional trainer, accredited by Cairo University and Missouri State University, USA.
With over 18 years of experience as a statistical and demography expert, I have led and contributed to high-impact projects with international organizations such as UNICEF, ILO, IOM, UNFPA, and the Arab League. My work spans advanced data analysis, artificial intelligence applications in research, reproductive health, migration, social protection, and national surveys. I have designed and delivered numerous training workshops, developed analytical papers, and advised ministries on evidence-based policy using national data systems. My expertise combines rigorous statistical methodologies with real-world problem-solving to support sustainable development goals and data-driven decision-making.
