Bio

Nora Aboushady is Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Economics and Political Science, Cairo University. She obtained her B.A. in Economics at the Faculty of Economics and Political Science, Cairo University, a M.A. in International Economics from the Institut d’Etudes Politiques de Paris (Sciences Po), and a Ph.D. in Economics from the Institut d’Etudes Politiques de Paris (Sciences Po). Nora teaches a number of courses including international economics, microeconomics, development economics, public finance, and European policies. She has collaborated with the United Nations Research Institute for Social Development (UNRISD), with the Organisation for Islamic Cooperation (OIC), with the Centre d’ Economie of the University of Paris 1 Panthéon- Sorbonne, with Bath University and the University of Manchester. Nora is a member of a number of research networks including the Economic Research Forum (ERF) and the Euro-Mediterranean Network for Economic Studies (EMNES). Her areas of interest include trade policy, trade in services, social policy and industrial policy.
