Bio
Nabeel Elhady is an Egyptian professor and architect born in 1964. He holds a Bachelor of Architecture with honors from Cairo University where he was also awarded the Masters of Architecture and then the Doctorate of Architecture in 1997.
Currently he is a professor at Cairo University, where he teaches History of urban form, Urban design, Graduation project, Aestetics, Experimental design and Architectural criticism.
In addition, He intiated and organized the annual architectural students' competiton entitled " where community meets…" which lasted for five years (2003-2008). He also organizes the public lectures by the international members of the jury.
Besides the academic responsibilities he is a practicing architect and urban designer. The projects undertaken by his office "noon", are continuous attempts to blend theories with realities in order to bring about architecture that respects humanity and nature.
