M.Nabil Momen, M.D., is clinical professor of andrology, sexology and STDs. since 1987, faculty of medicine at Cairo university in Egypt. He has a large clinical practice of andrology and sex therapy in Cairo.

He is the principal supervisor of 31 M.D. and M.Sc. thesis in the field of clinical and surgical Andrology, Sex therapy and STDs in Cairo University.

He has more than 30 published papers in the field of andrology and sexual medicine

 

He worked as a NORAD fellow scientist in the section of andrology at the institute of pathology – university of Oslo – Norway ( 1978 – 1979 ), He also worked as a fellow scientist in the section of reproductive biology in research involving male contraception and infertility treatment starting ( 1979 ) and used to teach in the university of Missouri – Colombia in the field of human sexuality, health and caring professions.

He worked as a visiting scientist in the section of reproductive physiology with Prof. R. Eliasson – Karolinska institute – Stockholm – Sweden ( 1983 ).

A  member of the higher committee for appointing assistant professors in the Egyptian universities (2001-2004).

A member of the higher committee for appointing professors in the Egyptian universities ( 2004-2008).

Currently, A member of the scientific committee for evaluating and promoting faculty members of the Egyptian universities to the higher committee previously mentioned.

He was an elected member of American Society of Andrology. He was on the scientific committee and a member of the editorial board of the Archive of AIDS research.

He is also a member of the Egyptian Society and journal of Andrology and reproduction. He was an editor and a reviewer of Middle East Fertility Society and journal.

Professor Moamen has been granted the Trophy of Pioneer in Andrology by the University of Mansoura on the 23rd of April 2015.
