My name is Mohammad Tawfik Ghoneim, born in Cairo in 1948, finished my high education and graduated in June 1972 from Physics Department, at Cairo University. In October, 1972, I was hired as a demonstrator in the Department of Physics, Faculty of Science, at Cairo University, where I took part in teaching Practical Physics in the Physics Laboratories and at the same time I started the Pre-Master course year, in nuclear physics. By the end of October, 1973, I finished successfully, the Pre-Master study, and then applied for the M.Sc Degree in the same year. About 30 months later, I got the M.Sc degree in "High Energy Physics", in July, 1976. In this month, of the same year, I applied for the PhD degree. In July 1979, I was awarded the PhD degree by Cairo University, and promoted to a "lecturer" of physics. After some years of research work; I was promoted to an "Associate Professor", in 1987, then to a full "Professor" in 1998. I have been teaching physics to many students at different universities, institutes and
educational establishments in several governorates of Egypt; since I have got my PhD degree.
My research work in "high energy physics" continued after I have finished my PhD thesis, where I published several papers in different national and international physics periodicals and journals, sometimes as a single author and other times as a Co-Author.
I have been also taking part in supervising many students to obtain their MSc and PhD degrees in the field of my research discipline. My hobbies and interests in life have been changing allover my years of age: starting with stamp collections, reading, drawing, painting, glass art work, playing violin and lute. In fact, I studied oriental music in the "Arabian Music Institute", in Egypt, in 1979 through 1982. I like the one-day trip and I usually share social occasions. My favorite sports have been football and tennis ball.
