Bio
Dr Mona Salah Hammad is Egypt’s first registered female actuary. She has been registered as a qualified actuary by the Egyptian Financial Supervisory Authority (EFSA) since 2006. She is also an ASA and a nearly qualified FIA with only one exam left towards fellowship (the SA exam).
Dr Hammad works as a full-time Assistant Professor in the Math & Insurance Dept, Faculty of Commerce, Cairo University, Egypt. She teaches to both actuarial students and English section students. Her current research interests include ratemaking, health insurance and multilevel linear modeling.
She has been also working a part-time actuarial advisor to EFSA during the period 2014-2016.
