Research Project:
- Investigating possible enhancements for tuning statistical machine translation systems.
- Building Microsoft's Arabic speech system and using it in some applications, the work involved Text-to-Speech, Automatic Speech Recognition, Language modeling, and Language Understanding.
- Building semantic representation for Arabic by learning words/phrases embeddings, mapping them to English, text similarity, cross lingual lexical substitution and automatic bootstrapping a rich Arabic lexical semantic database.
