1. Chemoembolization, embolization  and Chemoperfusion of tumors 

Liver HCC and metastases (a total of about 1500 sessions )

Lung metastases (a total of about 90 sessions)

Bone tumors in axial and appendicular skeleton (a total of about 50 sessions)

Uterine lieomyoma (a total of about 40 sessions)

2. Peripheral angioplasty 

(a total of about 200 interventions)

Angiographic examination of pelvic and lower limb arteries

Balloon angioplasty, Laser angioplasty and stenting including below knee interventions

3. Renal and superior mesenteric angioplasty 

(a total of about 30 interventions) Balloon angioplasty, and stenting

4. Embolization in haemorrhagic conditions

   (a total of about 25 interventions)

GI bleeding (pharynx, oesophagus, stomach, small and large bowel)

Pelvic trauma, Epistaxis and Glomus tumor

5. Aortic stent graft

Biopsies and Drainage of abscesses and pneumothorax .

Biopsies from prostate, liver and lymph nodes. Galvanotherapy of prostate and liver tumors.

 

Sharing in the research work of the department by writing articles and book chapters and doing clinical studies.

2. Leaking hepatic artery pseudoaneurysm & arteriovenous fistula developing during hepatic laser-induced thermotherapy & immediate successful management by embolization (currently reviewed). 

3. Hemopericardium complicating hepatic percutaneous laser-induced thermotherapy (LITT) and immediate percutaneous CT Fluoroscopy-guided drainage (currently reviewed).
