Mina Nabil is a Teaching Assistant in the Department of Hispanic Language and Literatures at Cairo University. He is specialized in Translation Studies, particularly from Arabic into Spanish and English and vice versa, and his particular areas of interest and research are in Applied Linguistics. He travelled to Spain in 2013 to take a course in translation from Arabic into Spanish, organized annually by the Toledo School of Translators. He has been teaching Spanish Grammar for two academic years to the undergraduate students in collaboration with associate professors of Linguistics in the Department. In 2011, he was among a team who gave an intensive course in the basics of Spanish language to the employees and librarians of the Cairo University Central Library. He is also a member of the Association of Hispanists in Egypt. He is also currently acting as representative of the junior faculty in the Faculty of Arts Council.
