I am currently a Professor at Cairo University and the Executive Manager of the CU Experimental Station. I completed my master's degree at Cairo University in 2007 and earned my Ph.D. in 2012 through a joint program with HU in Germany. After finishing my doctorate, I dedicated my efforts to postdoctoral research at several prestigious institutions, including Ege University in Turkey (2012-2013), Louisiana State University in the USA (2015-2016), and North-West University in South Africa (2019-2020). I focus on advancements related to environmental stressors, animal welfare, and genetics. As both a Principal Investigator (PI) and co-Principal Investigator (co-PI), I lead five international and national projects. I also contribute to the academic community by serving on the editorial boards of four esteemed journals. Throughout my career, I have supervised numerous master's and doctoral students, guiding their research on significant topics such as nanotechnology, biosecurity, water scarcity, and poultry welfare. I am proud to have secured two patents, one in 2014 and another in 2023, and I have published several articles in peer-reviewed journals. My contributions to agricultural science have been recognized with the CU Patent Award in 2014 and the CU Encouragement Award in 2017 from Cairo University. I actively participate in several scientific societies and NGOs, including the Egyptian Red Crescent. Since September 2019, I have served as the General Secretary of the Egyptian Animal Production Society. Additionally, I was the Chancellor of the Student Union and the General Supervisor of the Al-Sharjah Sports Center. I also served on the board of the Animal Care and Use in Research Committee from 2017 to 2021.
