I graduated from the Faculty of Computers and Information, Cairo University in 2006. I got my B.Sc. from the Information Systems Department. I was honored to be among the top students in the class which qualified me to be a teaching assistant in the department. Then, I got my M.Sc. degree from the same department in 2014 . My thesis focused on resolving the problem of data/value conflicts in the virtual data integration environment. Currently, I'm a Ph.D. graduate student in the Computer Sience Department at Rice University.

I started my academic career as a teaching assistant in 2006. Since then, I am enjoying each day of my job as a researcher and a teaching assistant since.

Through these years, I traveled a lot around the world. I traveled to Dubna, Russia in 2010 for one month attending a summer school in grid computing at JINR (Joint Institue for Nuclear Research). Then in 2012, I traveled to Houston, Texas, USA for to work with "Advantek International Corp." in  which I gained a lot of technical and research experience in data mining and its applications in the Oil & Gas Industry.
