Clinical:
Running outpatient clinics.
Actively involved in surgical ttt of patients requiring reconstructive urologic surgeries.
Asssisting the residents and specialists in a wide range of surgeries to prepare them to provide as much as possible of the service on their own in the future.
Supervising postoperative care for patients.
Administrative:

Preparing and purchasing equipments and supplies for the surgery department, particularly the operating theatre.
Preparing the policy and procedure for the surgery department as well as planning patient flow in the surgical services.

In addition to the clinical and managerial work, I used to take part in the teaching sessions for the medical students whom are regularly present in the hospital.

Consultant Urologist, International Hospital for Urology and Nephrology since 2005.
The hospital is the largest urology specialised private practice hospital running by a group of urologists and nephrologists with field experience in Egypt of over 30 years. I joined them in 2005 after obtaining my MD degree and have been working there over the last 10 years.

The hospital has been running a transplant program for more than 20 years and it is one of the leading hospitals in that field all over the country. Having gathered a substantial experience, the program now accepts complicated cases as well as standard cases. Currently, I am one of the senior three urologic surgeons performing renal transplantation procedures including donor nephrectomy, recepient bed preparation, vascular anastomosis and ureterovesical anastomosis. We only do live donor renal transplantation with an average weekly rate of two cases.
