Prof. Dr. Mohammed E. Ammar

Mohammed E. Ammar received the B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in electrical engineering from Cairo University, Cairo, Egypt in 2000 and 2003, respectively, and the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from the University of British Columbia, Vancouver, Canada in 2009. He was a postdoctoral research fellow at the University of British Columbia and a research associate at the University of Waterloo, Canada. Currently, he is a professor at the Faculty of Engineering, Cairo University, Cairo, Egypt. His research interests include microgrid control & stability, distributed generation, renewable energy grid-integration and process control.
