Paper “RPL Load Balancing via Minimum Degree Spanning Tree” (by Marwa Mamdouh, Khaled Elsayed and Ahmed Khattab) has been accepted at the 12th IEEE International Conference on Wireless and Mobile Computing, Networking and Communications.
Helped in different Network projects: Virtual Networks Lab using Linux and CORE Network Emulator, OSPF Lab using OPNET and Performance Evaluation of Computer Networks.
Worked on a research For M.Sc. on Load Balancing in Wireless Sensor Networks, Routing over Low Power and Lossy Networks (RPL) and Minimum Degree Spanning Tree Algorithms.
Worked on a research on Optical Character Recognition for Handwritten Numerals.
Summer Internship at Intel Middle East Mobile Innovation Center (Intel-MEMIC), Smart Village (2011). This Internship was related to the 4G+ Communication Systems, particularly LTE. The Interns focused on the problems related to LTE-advanced such as Multi-tier Networks (Femto/Pico/Relay), Coordinated Multi-point (CoMP), distributed antenna systems (DAS), Cognitive Radio, Simultaneous Transmission and Reception, Energy Efficiency, and Cooperative Communications.
