About me

My full name is Mai Hassan Mohamed Hassan. I was born in Cairo, Egypt, in 1987. I received my B.Sc. in Electronics and Electrical Communications Engineering with first class honors from Cairo University, Egypt, in 2009. I did my M.Sc., in 2011, in wireless communications under supervision of Prof. Mohammad Khairy and Dr. Yasmin Fahmy. In 2011, I joined the department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of British Columbia, Vancouver, Canada, where I pursued my Ph.D. degree in Wireless Communications, under supervision of Prof. Vijay Bhargava and Dr. Md. Jahangir Hossain. I defended my PhD and graduated on September 2015.

My current research interests include cognitive radio, multi-cell MIMO, cooperative diversity techniques, game theory, and signal processing.
