and Anaesthesia intensive care and pain management, , Main University Hospital is the biggest hospital in Cairo serving as a tertiary care hospital for Cairo and neighboring provinces (about 90 million people). It has almost 5000+ beds with full labs and radiological backup. Its busy Emergency Department receives more than 300,000 patients annually. It has a specialized trauma center, the only toxicology center of Cairo and more than 10 ICU units (more than 180 beds of intensive, coronary and recovery care units) backed-up with virtually all medical specialties.
