Bibliography

Dr. Mansour has more than 7 years of research experience at Western and Cairo universities where he developed design guidelines for a novel deep foundation system and investigated the liquefaction susceptibility of clayey sand under cyclic loading. Currently, Dr. Mansour is working on developing a foundation model that can simulate the resistance of tree roots during tornadoes and strong wind events.

In addition to his research experience, Dr. Mansour is a geotechnical engineer with over 3 years of practical experience. His experience comprises the design of shallow and deep foundations, ground displacement calculations, design of earth retaining structures and shoring systems, slope stabilization analysis, design of catchment areas for rockfall control, and preparation of site investigation plans.
