Biography

Hisham S. Gabr is a professor of architecture and a practitioner. He has a PhD from the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee, USA (1993), a BSc and MSc degrees from Cairo U. His 42-year academic career stationed mainly in Cairo U with part-time and fulltime teaching positions in Kansas State U, United Arab Emirates University, MSA University (previous department chair), AUC and GUC. A recipient of a distinguished teaching award, he has extensive teaching experience in multitude of courses including graduation project. His research covers issues of human behavior and architecture.
