Teaching

  • Lectures in anesthesia and pain relief for junior staff of anesthetists, surgeons, pediatric oncology, nursing staff, and pharmacists.

Anesthetic Experience

:

  • Pediatric Anesthesia for all varieties of pediatric surgeries including surgical oncology, neurosurgery, orthopedic and thoracic surgery.

  • Anesthesia for major cancer surgery with different modalities for their anesthesia (General, Regional neuroaxial blockade) including one lung anesthesia for major thoracic surgery for adults and pediatrics.

  • Anesthesia for major operations including neurosurgery, orthopedic surgery, ENT surgery and general surgery have been carried out as a consultant in CCHE or NCI Hospitals using either G A or regional neuroaxial blockade.

Pain relief Experience

:

  • More than 50 patients weekly in the pain clinic whether new cases or follow up since 2005.

  • More than 200 cases of interventional blocks for chronic cancer pain have been carried out in NCI including: coeliac, superior hypogastric, stellate, splanchnic, lumbar sumpathectomy ganglion impar blocks, epidural&intrathecal trials and implantable pumps .

  • More than 500 cases of interventional blocks for chronic noncancer pain for referred cases from different departments & clinics including: Transforaminal selective nerve root block, facet joint block, sacroiliac J. block, shoulder j. block,  caudal block…etc.
