Bio
Dr. Hayam M. Lotfy is a Professor of Pharmaceutical Chemistry at Cairo University. She holds a Master's degree in Analytical Chemistry (1993) and a PhD in Analytical Chemistry (1997), both received from Cairo University.
Her extensive research focuses on the development of novel methods for drug and food analysis. Her publication record is strong, particularly in the areas of green analytical chemistry, chemometric-assisted spectrophotometry, and developing sustainable analytical methods for complex pharmaceutical mixtures. She has an h-index of 35 , and has co-authored 162 international publications, which have collectively received 3695 citations.
Professor Lotfy has supervised a total of 35 Master's and PhD theses at Cairo University and Future University. She has established many cooperative research papers with faculties of pharmacy in Canada, Turkey, and Syria, as well as with drug companies and the agricultural research center in Egypt. She has participated in more than 50 national and international conferences across countries including Egypt, London, Turkey, France, and Spain.
Dr. Lotfy is a Deputy Editors-in-Chief of theFuture Journal of Pharmaceutical Sciences and a member of the Editorial Board for several international publications, including the Annales PharmaceutiquesFrançaises, and IBIMA Publishing, USA. She is also a reviewer for more than 40 international journals.
