At the end of this course, the student should be able to:
- 1. Define the Laplace Transform and discuss existence and basic properties
- Apply Laplace transforms to solve initial value problems
- Identify Functions of a Complex Variable and their basic properties.
- Explain the properties of analytic functions and Classify Singularities
- Identify Conformal Mappings.
- Calculate derivatives, integrals, series expansions and residues at singularities of complex-valued functions
- Create elementary conformal mappings
- Know and identify MATLAB’s syntax, desktop and tools Programming
- Solve engineering problems using MATLAB programming
