Maha A. Hassanein
rofessor at Engineering Mathematics and Physics Department, Faculty of Engineering, Cairo University, Egypt. Maha has been a faculty member since 1989, where she earned her BSc degree in Communication and Electronic Engineering in 1989. Maha also completed her PhD and MSc degrees in Engineering Mathematics in 1999 and 1994, respectively at Cairo University. Research interests lie in the area of numerical linear algebra, parallel computing on Graphics Processing Units (GPU), interval analysis and Wavelets theory. Maha instructing with 20 years of experience teaching a wide variety of mathematics courses for engineering students. Maha has interests for quality of education where she attended a variety of workshops for the quality assurance and accreditation (QAA) being a member of the quality assurance and accreditatino unit and vice president of the unit. Earned an ABET certificate in program assessment in 2019.
