AER307: flight mechanics and control

Semester:
Spring

This course covers two fields:

  1. Understanding the airplane dynamics as a system (its governing equtations, different modes, flight qualities ...etc.)
  2. Understanding more about controller design, basically how to tackle a controller design problem for a given system.

The course ultimately aims to link the controller design with the flight mechanics, i.e. to be able to design different controllers to control the states of an airplane.

AER207: System dynamics

Semester:
Spring

This course deals with the preliminaries of system modeling and controller design. Modeling problems for various systems are tackled and the very basics of controller design are introduced.
