This course covers two fields:
- Understanding the airplane dynamics as a system (its governing equtations, different modes, flight qualities ...etc.)
- Understanding more about controller design, basically how to tackle a controller design problem for a given system.
The course ultimately aims to link the controller design with the flight mechanics, i.e. to be able to design different controllers to control the states of an airplane.
