Galila Ragheb

Prof. Galila Ann Ragheb is a Professor  Emeritus of English Literature in the Department of English Language and Literature, the Faculty of Arts, Cairo University. A former chairperson of the English Department, she obtained an M.A. in English Literature from Cairo University, an M.Phil. in English and Education  from London University Institute of Education, and a Ph.D. in English Literature from Cairo University. Her field of specialisation is fiction.

Her main fields of interest are feminist and postcolonial studies.
