Dr. Faisal A. Hussien received his B.Sc. degree in Electronics and Electrical Communications Engineering in June 2000 from Cairo University, Egypt.
From August 2000 to May 2003, He joined the Electronics and Electrical Communications Engineering Department at Cairo University as a teaching assistant. In 2003, He received his M.Sc. degree from the same Department, under the supervision of Prof. Mahmoud T. El-Hadidi.
In January 2003, Dr. Hussien joined the Analog and Mixed Signal Center (AMSC), Department of Electrical Engineering, Texas A&M University, College Station, TX. He received his Ph.D. degree at the same department, under the supervision of Prof. Edgar Sanchez-Sinencio in March 2009.
From September 2007 to April 2011, He worked as an analog circuit design at the Wireless Terminal Business Unit (WTBU) and Microcontroller Unit (MCU) at Texas Instruments (TI), Dallas, TX.
From May 2011 to September 2016, Dr. Hussien was an assistant professor at the EECE department and affiliated with Cairo Circuits and Systems Lab. (CCSL) at Cairo University, Egypt.
From September 2016 to September 2022, He was an associate professor at the EECE department at Cairo University, Egypt.
Since Spetember 2022 to present, Dr. Hussien is a professor at the EECE department at Cairo University, Egypt.
